Silver Surfer Baller Series Heater Installation
- Turn off Silver Surfer and make sure the heater and heater cover are COLD
- Remove the heater cover
- Slip on the Baller Series heater cover as you would the original heater cover.
- Fill the Baller Series heater cover with the 3mm rubies.
- We have found that cutting a corner of the bag off, about 5mm will allow the balls to fall out nicely into the Baller Series heater cover.
- You only need to cut one bag of rubies. This way you have a bag to hold your extra rubies. Empty a new bag of rubies to the bag that you cut the corner off of, careful to keep the cut part up, so the rubies stay in the bag. Repeat until full
- Do not fill all the way, there needs to be a little room for the baller cap to fit. If you have filled it too much, you can empty a few balls out into a bowl, until the cap fits nicely
- Add the baller cap
- Turn on the Silver Surfer and let warm up. You will need to find a new sweet spot
Super Surfer 6mm Baller Series Heater Installation
- Turn off Super Surfer and make sure the heater and heater cover are COLD
- Remove the heater cover
- Install new heater cover
- Fill the Baller Series heater cover with the 6mm rubies.
- Do not fill all the way, the top, the very top of the heating element needs to be exposed as well as there needs to be a little room for the baller cap to fit. If you have filled it too much, you can empty a few balls out into a bowl, until the cap fits nicely
- Add the baller cap
- Turn on the Super Surfer and let warm up. You will need to find a new sweet spot. The new Baller Series heater runs more efficiently and will have the potential to run at a lower temperature, while also delivering a larger hit. Find your sweet spot.
