Alexander the great glass first fell in love with glass after seeing an Elbo Dino piece about 8 years ago, but it was actually about 5 years ago that he started blowing glass with his on torch. When Alexander first started he worked in his hot humid shed in South Florida. Today tho Alexander the great is the owner of his own studio with room for 5 renters.
When Alexander first started lampworking he aimed to make products that would produce the most profit for him. When he doesn't have an order Alexander like to experiment with new ideas and techniques. His favorite colors are the new Lucid and Ghost from Northstar glass and his least favorite colors are anything opaque and difficult to work. Alexander the Great doesn't often do "official" collabs but instead unused prep is often gifted around the shop producing lots of small in shop collabs.
