This week Elev8 has Andy G Glass as their special guest. This guy is a legend in the industry. If you haven’t seen his work already, go check out his Instagram page @AndyG_Glass. Andy G’s color pallet is completely amazing. The colors he chooses and the layers within the linework is completely mind blowing. This interview was really fun, Andy G was inside his studio, so we got an inside peek of where the magic happens. It was really cool to hear how the industry changed in the 2000’s with the internet. Once the art was available to look and learn from.
Andy G says he pulls his own color and has been since the beginning. This must be why his work is on a level of its own and is so unique. The time Andy G puts into his work is incredible. The prep work that he does to build the different sections can build up to upwards of 40-50 sections for a piece. So much time goes into the art he has mastered.
