How many hits can I get from a portable vaporizer vs. smoking?

You can get between 10-30 hits from a bowl.   The lower the temperature the more hits you will get.  Some start out lower, and increase the heat as the vape the bowl.

What is the best vaping temperature?

The best vaping temperature is one that allows the herb to get brown to dark brown.  Cannabis combusts at 450, so any higher is no good.  Again, many people will start out about half, like 6 on the SideKick and work up to 9 or even 10.  

Do portable vaporizers smell?

Yes, vaporizing cannabis flower will smell a lot like dabbing.  It is a lot lighter in smell than smoking cannabis and is less noticeable. If you are carrying your portable vape with a half vaped bowl, you will smell more than if the vape is empty.

How to tell when dry herb is done in a portable vaporizer?

As you vaporize your cannabis flower, the herbs will change from green to brown.  The darker the brown, the more you are extracting, so this is good!  Just do not go too far and let it combust.  It will be very hard and the flavor may not be what you like about vaping.  But there is still a lot of goodness in the flower, so save it and eat it like Jonny Duff.
